Hyperbaric & PhotoBioModulation Technician

Joining ATX Hyperbarics as an Hyperbaric and PhotoBioModulation Technician is an exciting opportunity to jump start your career in the health care industry. As a Hyperbaric Technician you will be responsible for operating hyperbaric chambers and PhotoBioModulation light beds safely, scheduling patient appointments, cleaning the equipment between patients, and providing satisfactory patient experiences. With paid, extensive training, you will gain the skills needed to care for our patients and build a network of other health care professionals across the geography where you live.

    Location: Working with patients In-Center (Clinic) setting

    Schedule: Full Time Hours; 3 days/week; 12-13.5 hours/day; Shift starts at 7am; Closed Sundays.

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Operate Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and associated equipment with certified proficiency, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.

    2. Provide specific attention to patient notes, catering to individual needs during treatment.

    3. Demonstrate a proficient understanding of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy principles and articulate the treatment process clearly and concisely to patients.

    4. Emphasize the mechanism of action of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy relevant to the patient's specific condition.

    5. Operate the PhotoBioModulation (PBM) Full Body Light Therapy bed with expertise, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the treatment process.

    6. Explain the mechanism of action of PBM, highlighting its relevance to the patient's specific condition.

    7. Assist patients in scheduling requests through various communication channels, such as phone, text, email, or other methods as trained and directed by the supervisor.

    8. Respond to new patient leads promptly via phone, email, text, or other communication mediums, following the protocols established by the supervisor.

    9. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including tasks such as changing linens, emptying laundry bins, and other necessary janitorial duties.

    10. Other duties as required

    Requirements

    1. Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need

    2. High school diploma or equivalent

    3. Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours)

    4. Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.

    5. Health care experience a plus including: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
